We were very excited to carry out the design proposal for the arrangement of the venue located above the National Theatre in Bucharest. Situated right in the heart of the city, at 'km 0', Aria NTB has a very generous terrace overlooking some of the most emblematic buildings in the city. One of the main design elements used are wooden slats with which we clad the ceiling and part of the walls, suggesting the depth of a forest and the rhythm created by trees. We used soft velvet fabrics for the upholstered furniture, providing a sensation of comfort throughout the space. The color scheme refers to nature - a diaphanous turquoise, like the sea, where green and blue combine to create an amazing color - phthalo blue-green and a saturated, yet calm yellow, like a golden sunset. The atmosphere is complemented by soft lighting, plenty of vegetation, and painted walls.

We were thrilled to craft the interior design concept for the venue perched atop the National Theatre of Bucharest. Set at the very heart of the city—Bucharest's ‘Kilometer Zero’—Aria TNB boasts an expansive rooftop terrace overlooking some of the capital's most iconic landmarks. A defining design element is the linear timber cladding that sweeps across the ceiling and accents the walls, evoking the rhythm and density of a forest canopy. Rich, tactile velvet upholstery introduces warmth and a relaxed sense of comfort throughout. The color palette draws directly from the natural world: an ethereal coastal turquoise—where deep greens and blues converge into a striking phthalocyanine hue—paired with a saturated, warm yellow reminiscent of golden-hour light. Layered with ambient, diffused lighting, lush indoor greenery, and bespoke hand-painted murals, the space offers an intimate urban retreat above the skyline.
