In an increasingly preoccupied world, spending leisure time in a pleasant way, away from the rush and bustle of the city, has gained special importance. Therefore, we present a temporary accommodation ensemble that takes into account both the needs of humans and those of nature, being a minimal and modular intervention. The two refuge units that make up the ensemble are located close to the water; water that gently invades the interior space with light, sound, and fragrance. Inside, a humble overall image is created, close to the simplicity and naturalness present in traditional peasant houses. Thus, the hearth plays a central role in the spatial configuration, being both an object that aims to intimate the night area, and one that produces heat and gathers people in the daytime area. The materiality also approaches as closely as possible to the natural framework of the intervention through the use of wood (burnt or natural wood). Detached from the main unit, a module is outlined that gets even closer to the water and at the same time proposes an even higher level of intimacy, namely a sauna. On the upper floors, two other accommodation units are proposed, oriented towards the view. Externally, the ensemble effortlessly fits on the riverbank and offers various placement possibilities through its total openness to the river flow.
